LaTeX

Introduction

LaTeX is a macro set for the typesetting language TeX. TeX was developed by computer scienctiest Professor Emeritus Donald Ervin Knuth. LaTeX is a macro package developed by Leslie Lamport to make things easier to create. LaTeX has become the most common way to use TeX nowadays.

The following slides and exercises are written in german, as the seminars I’ve used them for were all held in german. If anyone is interested in translation or wanting to translate these material, please let me know. I would very much appreciate any efforts in doing so.

At present I’m crammed with other things, so i won’t have the time to work on the materials. If you’re willing to contribute changes, enhancements or translations to these slides, please let me know, and I’ll hand you the materials you’ll need.
